Robert Geismann holds an honours degree in Economics from the University of Malta and a MBA from Warwick Business School with a specialisation in strategic planning and information systems strategy and management.

As Partner at EMCS, a leading boutique advisory firm in Malta, he leads the technology related business advisory services, including the IT outsourcing operations of the firm. He was previously Director of IT operations at a payroll outsourcing provide in the UK as well as a Partner at Grant Thornton Malta. He has assisted clients in adopting innovative technology solutions to maintain their competitive edge in the financial services, health, telecommunications, professional and public sectors. These include amongst other the Malta Depositor Compensation Scheme, subsidiaries of Deutsche Telekom, the Malta Ministry for Health, the Malta Communications Authority, Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking, and the European Commission.

With a keen interest in emerging technologies, he is currently assisting Fintech companies in using Malta’s innovative regulatory technological framework to differentiate themselves within an increasingly competitive and regulated environment.
