Benjamin Babik is a self taught software developer, coach and tinkerer and a passionate advocate for public digital engagement. In his professional career he has worked with clients in finance, pharma, and law and in these challenging environments champions and demonstrates the value of openness and autonomy.
Benjamin is also the founder of the Digital Contract Developers Consortium which is UK self funded cooperative that supports collaboration between small organisations and companies that want to improve digital relationships without a dependence of big tech.
Benjamin believes we’re at a pivotal point in internet history, and that how we deploy distributed technologies and educate the public will make the difference between a safe and open internet or the further the loss of privacy and sovereignty.
